One of Saskatchewan’s most popular golf courses, Deer Valley Golf Club is nestled in the scenic Qu’Appelle Valley and is located 15 minutes northwest of Regina. Deer Valley Golf Club is set alongside the idyllic Deer Valley Residential Development which was built within 475 acres of natural valley and prairie terrain, offering quite country living with all of the amenities of contemporary community life. The golf course has matured beautifully and is recognized as one of the finest golf courses in Saskatchewan. With 4 sets of tees available, players of all skill levels can enjoy golf on a course that is consistently maintained in championship condition. We are a semi private golf course and are open daily for public play. We also offer Annual Membership, Corporate Events packages and are open for Corporate and Charity Tournaments.

The Golf Course Maintenance team is responsible for all care and upkeep of the entire property. This includes over 100 acres of maintained turf grass, underground irrigation system, multiple buildings, washroom facilities, cart paths, and designated parking areas.Turf Maintenance team members take care of the golf course and perform a wide variety of tasks.

Responsibilities Include:

• Equipment operation including mowing lasers on tees, greens, fairways, and rough.
• Physical labor including raking sand traps, digging, weeding, string trimming, blowing leaves, changing pins, collecting garbage, cleaning washrooms.
• Effective communication and cooperation with supervisors daily.
• Positive attitude towards your fellow team members, club members, and guests.
• Work safely and properly care for machinery and tools.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• The job description requires individuals to be physically able to handle manual labour and lifting, as well as able to perform a variety of tasks with a positive attitude.
• Willing to be able to work in all types of weather and environmental conditions.
• All applicants should have a valid driver’s license and some form of transportation to the golf club.
• Ability to work with team members and independently.
• Safety conscious.
